About Us

The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is a nation-wide organization that hosts a plethora of renowned computer science and tech professionals who provide resources and teaching opportunities. The ACM club as UMD is a branch of this organization, and we share their mission for spreading knowledge and opportunities to those interested in tech fields. Hosting tech professionals from the nationwide organization and beyond, we boast exciting TED-talk style events and workshops that are educational and fun for our over 350+ registered members. We recommend the club to Computer/data science undergraduate and graduate students, but we welcome any majors.
